Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a position with Winchester Fire Dept, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of application.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must hold a current Kentucky (or National Registry) certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced EMT (AEMT), or Paramedic.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, medical physical, and drug screening.
- Successful completion of a physical agility test.
